As cinemas, museums and theaters reopen this Wednesday, how is "Télérama" doing? Fabienne Pascaud, editorial director of the weekly, is the guest of "L'Instant M".
telerama
How is Télérama doing? The magazine publishes more than 100 pages on culture every week. It deliberately mixes live art and screens. Making places, books and dematerialized creation coexist. How is it going after a year where the show has stopped, where museums and cinemas have closed, where our consumption of internet and TV images has exploded? Will there be a before and after?

Our cultural practices are changing at a rapid pace. The pandemic has further accelerated it. Will Télérama be changed by it? Not to mention the ideological battlefield that culture has become. Télérama does not seem for all that to have become electrified. The newspaper, a monument of the paper press and of the subscriber model, has always cultivated a calmness and a distance proper to this temporality. The quiet force, we said in 1981, but is tranquility compatible with the times?
