Cocody-Bonoumin: another tragedy due to another building collapse

Decidedly the commune of Cocody is becoming more and more the scene of dramas due to building collapses. We still remember the collapse of a building under construction located in the Anono district on Friday, March 12, a collapse that caused loss of life, especially among workers and residents of the surrounding houses, and extensive property damage.

Indeed, an apartment building has partially collapsed in the district of the Bonoumin River.

Fortunately, there was no loss of life, but there was a lot of property damage to the occupants of the building. Vehicles totally destroyed under the weight of rubble, air conditioners and many other damage are to be regretted.

This wave of building collapse raises the big problem of controlling the construction conditions of some buildings in Abidjan. Buildings very often built in haste without real solid foundations. Buildings that represent totally danger of death for many inhabitants.

The competent authorities are therefore invited to react vigorously because it is the life of many populations.
