Indeed, it is in this same perspective that the 5th bridge will be built while the work on the 4th bridge is underway, it can be seen on the side of Yopougon. The 5th bridge of Abidjan will cost 77.5 billion CFA francs and will be the only cable-stayed bridge in West Africa.

Abidjan will be equipped with a cable-stayed bridge of the latest generation and 634 meters long, this bridge will be extended by a 260 meter viaduct and two interchanges. It will provide a link between the Plateau and Bingerville communes, passing through Cocody. It will be 1.5 kilometers long with a 200-meter high cable stay. As you can see on the pictures, the work is in progress. At the end of the works, the Cocody bridge should allow the traffic of more than 29,000 to 35,000 vehicles per day to flow smoothly.
